| PRESENTED BY "MY HOUSE PROJECT" |
Presented by My House Projects from Nottingham, Friday 1st December, 2006, 7pm
Ian Nesbitt's work explores whatever he feels like exploring. This has included such creative graveyards as cyborg theory, genetics, individuality, synchronicity, déjà vu, future dystopia, corporate takeover, fruit, art, and life. The work is organic and lo-fi; produced instinctively and responsively, and covering video, animation, drawing, installation, photography, text and book-making so far. If there is a theme recurrent in the work, it is the consistent failure to provide answers to questions posed, with the sad inadequacy of art visible through the cracks.
